Norse Costume Colour Test

This is just a quick colour test that I did for my Norse (/Elvish) costume I'm making for the fall '08 Faire season.

I already made a norse (viking) style tunic that's grey with light blue and burgundy trim, buuuut the problem with that is that nothing matches it! Nothing! Sooo, I'm remaking it in creams, tans, light browns, and some deep red maybe. I think it'll be quite fun and pretty--especially for fall (my favourite season^^)! It'll also be a heck of a lot more comfortable (and cooler) than my Tudor (Elizabeth I) gown.

The tunic won't take long to remake, and the trim's already ordered. I also have the boned base of the corset finished, I just have to buy the cloth that will cover it and spend lots of time embroidering it by hand. I also need to make a skirt for the whole ensemble....

And to think, the beginning reason that I'm even making a 2nd costume for Faire this year is because I wanted something to wear my elf ears with XD
