Finally, more pictures of my Rowena Ravenclaw costume!

I wanted Rowena to be pseudo-historically accurate. The dress is linen with hand woven, linen trim (by

) and hand-stitched accents (there are also some bands of scrap gold brocade on the sleeves). It's very comfortable and easy to move in: a must for any powerful witch! I went with the book colors of blue and bronze for the gown, though the bronze looks more gold, since in fabrics bronze usually=brown or copper. The cloak and belt are also handwoven, by [link] (so warm and snuggly!).
